Re: TFcon 2009 Exclusive Powered Commander over 50% Sold Out

I have two questions about the sale:

1. Is there a limit to how many you can buy per lineup? Because it wouldn't be fair for everyone that lines up for one, if the first couple of people buy like 10 each or whatever.

2. So for people that didn't buy a ticket, can they get admission with the purchase of Power Commander?

You really think multiple people will buy 10? That's $1600 to instantly blow. There is no limit, so I advice getting there early if you are really worried about them selling out.

If you buy Powered Commander at the door for $160, that includes your admission. Ticket prices without the exclusive are outlined here: http://www.tfcon.ca/registration.php

As for there being no limit, whatever happens is fair because everyone had a chance to reserve the exclusive during the pre-reg period, and now it's first come, first serve.

um.. you don't know this fandom very well, do you lol

yes, people will buy 10 if they can, just to turn around and sell on Ebay. But like Shan said, its fair game, just like a retail store, and that's how some people make their money.

there's already pre-orders for Powered Commander on Ebay for $250 US

That is exactly why I asked. I saw that post and that guy will be buying like 30 of them for sure, since he has the money already.

I am just saying it would suck it someone waited in line for like 1 hour or so and not be able to buy it.

Especially if that person is buying for their own personal collection, while someone else is buying it to make money on ebay.

If this is such a big concern may I advise pre-registering in the future and your figures will be reserved till you get to the show. As for someone buying 30, to my knowledge no one has purchased that amount yet but feel free to do as you wish to said possible individual keeping in mind assault is against the law

Man, I'd love one of these sets, but going to TFCon this year is a no-no for me. Already planning one big con this year, maybe I'll go next year.

I would buy an Henkei Prime just so I could dress up my Classics Prime in Powered Commander.

Does anyone know if there are any Power Commander armors left. For those of us deprived of the TFCon experience.
