Re: Canada is getting very far behind in releases...is this a bad sign?

This is defiantly an omen that should not be taken lightly. I guess this is just pay back for the beginning of animated and universe where they were coming our in Canada long before the US

Was thinking the same thing - it's revenge for that very thing.

Still, I hope we get Shockwave soon. I NEEDS A SHOCKWAVE!!!!!!!

I dunno what it's like anywhere else in Canada, but here in the Maritimes it's awful, here in Halifax every Wal-Mart and Zellers the shelves are empty. Every now and then we get a ramdom sighting but nothing to much, TRU still has a over flow of animated voyager and Leader, but they still barely have anything else. it's getting crazy. I hope we start getting some new Deluxes, Legends or whatever because this really sucks.

You know, I haven't even seen Ultra Magnus at TRU yet.

Makes me REALLY glad I bought one when I was on Christmas vacation in Ontario.

Reminds me of my Star Wars collecting days. Canada got the shaft for a lot of things.

I only ever saw the Uganauts once at retail...and that was at the Bay of all places.

I've resorted to driving to Buffalo to get most of my new figures. My girlfriend looks for shoes and I look for Transformers...it works out in the end :P

Cheers!

Re: Canada is getting very far behind in releases...is this a bad sign?

I still haven't found any Wave 4 Universe deluxes at any nearby Wal-Mart stores, and wave 3 on only 1 occasion, and it was only Ironhide and Silverstreak. It scares me a lot, I hope it gets better before the movie line has its revenge on toy shelves, decimating all other lines.

Yeah...but the post is just about whether I should start buying from the US...just wondering if there was any more info about the 'release shortage'...it sucks, but I'm not loosing sleep over it.

Unless you were referring to the more extreme remarks in this thread, to which I am also having difficulty deciphering between sarchasm and genuine concern...

Guess we're a passionate bunch!
