Re: Which writer would you like to see at TFcon 2012?
Michael Reaves did a few Episodes of G1 and a ton of Star Wars novels(For Sunday me thinks)
Alan Dean Foster did both the 2007 Movie Adaptation & Ghosts of Yesterday, as well as tons of Star Wars again.
And of course Bob Budiansky created a mass of G1 fiction, including most of the original Tech Specs so he'd be an incredible option as well.

i dont know why, but i'm thinking that asking the people who just took over writing IDWs ongoing comics might be cool? i'm sure they cant answer anything about whats coming down the pipeline so maybe there wouldnt be much to talk about though...

There are almost no writers when compared against artist numbers at Comic Cons and the like. Voice actors definitly have a big appeal for folks when compared to writers.

I personally would love to have writers for TFCon to keep the diversity flowing and have a fresh perspective on the fiction and fandom...but,I don't know why people don't request them too often
