I've found myself making a few purchases recently... not because I REALLY want them, but because I'm afraid I'm going to want them later on. I think that they will be impossible to find at a later date for a resonable price.

Anyone else find themselves doing this from time to time... Buy it because it is there now and might not be around later?

I don't really do that, only if it's a figure I actually want. I have other things to buy that I'd prefer.

all thw time , given how few stores are in the area I live in, and how infrequently they restock.

Lately when I buy TFs its become more of a "how much do I want this?" deal...if I can tell a product will be a shelf warmer or I have little interest in it I can wait for a sale. Perfect examples would be the last wave movie guys, I think the only 3 I want are Stockade, Salvage, and Stealth BB. But they are everywhere! So I think to myself I can easily get one in a few years loose for $5 or get them in the states for $7.77 and the only one that is a mold I don't have is Stockade and he doesn't blow my mind so I don't mind waiting a while to own him.

Of course, once I got it I liked it indeed.

Sometimes I buy stuff just cuz it's new. With new molds I can usually deal with that but with repaints I sometimes regret it (not a completionist, don't buy everything).

Definitely the first few waves of a line... It seems the last few waves are the ones they keep pumping out and then put on clearance

Yep...this is often the case with me, and I've regretted it a bit with the TF sales starting to show up at the various stores.

What am I saying!? I never really regret a TF purchase...I only regret paying extra for a TF purchase where the money could have otherwise been used to buy more TFs. ;-)
