slippy's Collection

I have limited my collection to one Ikea Detolf display case.
This lets me focus my collection, makes it easy to maintain and saves space.

Shelf #1 has my favourites and icons. I tried to keep a 1:1 Autobot to Decepticon ratio for a fair fight (you know they fight while you're asleep ), although there's an extra - can you find it?

Shelf #2 has more Masterpieces and G1 homages.

Shelf #3 is my Beast Wars shelf. These guys make me wish I had more display space for my other figures, since they're so large (Rampage, Depthcharge, etc.). The series was so great and all the characters were very memorable.

Shelf #4 is TF Animated. These guys will be put into storage when I need more room for G1 stuff. Beast Wars will move to shelf #4 and shelf #3 will house MP Rodimus et al.

Nice. Can you really limit yourself to one cabinet though? Wouldn't two give the room a nice symmetry?

I like the way think!

No more alts, eh slippy? (I bought several from you a couple of years ago). They tend to eat up a bit of space though. But I love them.

Nice display!

If it was in a small room then yeah, but it's in the corner of my dining room, which is connected to the living room open concept style.

I remember you! Yeah no more alts for me. I find the recent deluxes represent G1 characters perfectly.

Re: slippy's Collection

I'm the same. I have one detolf to display my favorites. But I'm thinking of expanding to two detolfs so I can bring some TF out of storage. Besides, there some really good TF as of late.

BTW, nice collection

I'm down to needing only six more alts to complete the line so that makes me happy. I absolutely love them but I'm also glad that there isn't any more continually coming out.

Other than getting the odd alt every now and again, I'm doing the same as you, collecting the 'classics' deluxes.
