The MPs are all good figures.
It sounds like you want Optimus and Megatron beside your TV, and you don't have them yet, so work on getting them first. And then Soundwave, as you noted you want. After you have those first 3 that you wanted, you can see how much you want the others, or maybe something better will have come along by then.
It seems as if you are trying to decide upon your collection all at once, and really, that is difficult to do when on a budget. For me, there is so much that I would like to have, but I know I can't afford it all. And, there are many figures I buy because I think it suits my collection, and I think that nothing better will come out, but then I am later regretting it, because something better did come out.
If might be better for you to get the key figures you want first, and work slowly and make decisions as you save up.
