Generations Scoop

This guy released to the fanfare of...pretty much no one, well, a few people, but it was kinda limited to those who had a strong connection to him, likely through the G1 toy. Still, does that make him a throw away? Definitely not! In fact, I got him after the fact since I originally looked past him and, man, am I glad I gave him another chance!

Re: Generations Scoop

Indeed he is a good transformer. Though I regret not picking him up when he got released in retail..

Re: Generations Scoop

I like him,but definitely bot mode more as alt mode kinda sucks the way his chest flap holds the bottom front end together(or doesn't lol)

Re: Generations Scoop

The Targetmasters are a nice touch. Beyond that, Scoop is a solid figure from a solid line. It's always nice to see modern representation of some of the lesser-known G1 TFs.

Re: Generations Scoop

I bought two, and they both have the same issue with the shoulders. One is higher than the other.. so it causes some issues in alt mode since the arms are connected to the chest piece

Re: Generations Scoop

I was sure there was a little fanfare when his images were first revealed.

It's a great toy. A fantastic modern take on the original brick-former. I love both original and the new.

Don't forget, you can take off those gun handles and plug them into their fists to act as their own guns.

Yep...Targetmasters who becomes guns for a bigger figure, but also have their own gun.

Re: Generations Scoop

SHucks, I DID forget to mention that bit about the target masters. Everyone above make terrific points. mind you, I got mine after getting one for the holidays for the scraplets and really enjoying the guy. It gives me hope for lesser known upcoming characters, like, I do believe, getaway. I like his alt mode but mine stays tabbed. To be fair though, the scraplets version does not. Seems like it is a results may vary. And yes, I changed mine out for theirs so they could have the better chest. On a shelf, mine works fine, lol.

Re: Generations Scoop

I love both the G1 and Generations version. Never understood myself why he was not better received.
