City Transformers
What's a good city Transformer to get if I ever get the chance to buy one?

Re: City Transformers
I got LG-EX Metroplex, TR Fort Max & TR Trypticon
I like them all for different reasons, but Trypticon is prob most fun (once you fix his hips/tail problem)
The humanoid ones need multiple upgrade kits to be serviceable

Re: City Transformers
Or perhaps you are on a budget? Then I suggest grabbing the Modulators from the Siege line like Ironworks and Airwave!

Re: City Transformers
I did get Ironworks, and I was wondering what that alt mode was. I don't care for him because he's one I have to take apart to transform, and Wal-Mart didn't have any of the other city Transformers today. I remember the G1 Fortress Maximus being like the most expensive Transformer at $100 back in the day when Transformers were too new for sellers to ask for thousands of dollars from collectors. I bought three others so my bill for Transformers came to $83.63. The others I bought were Hammerbyte who I thought was a Decepticon at first, War for Cybertron Autobot Hound, and Revenge of the Fallen Mixmaster. Those things are extremely hard to transform. I might go to the b/s/t forum and see if anyone wants to trade a G1 Mixmaster for him because when I got him, the two tank things connected to his shoulder fell off as I was opening him; and I can't find a video that shows how to peg them on.

Re: City Transformers
The original Fort Max still has the best and most functional city mode.

Re: City Transformers
I'm wondering if my Mixmaster is defective because I can't get those shoulder pieces to click on for love nor money, and I handed him to someone to see if she could figure it out, and she gave up after several minutes. He looks like a Voyager class Transformer. At least he's priced like one as opposed to that Megatron that turns into a semi and is a bear to transform. I paid maybe $40 or $50 plus tax for Megatron, and he wasn't easy enough to transform to be worth it.

This is correct. Titan class Trypticon is next.
