Not surprising at all.

So this version of Punch Out is the same as Mike Tyson's Punch Out, minus Tyson?

Halfway through the retail run, Nintendo lost or terminated the licensing deal with Mike Tyson and ended up re-releasing the game titled Punch Out instead of Mike Tyson's Punch Out. The final fighter is Mr. Dream but everything else stays the same and this is a game that has been around since the NES was at retail. Since Nintendo still doesn't have the licensing deal with Tyson, they had to use this re-release version on this console. It's not new, it's just a version many people didn't know already existed and is very common.

Re: NES emulator mini-console w/ 30 games

This thing is so not worth it. A few of the earliest Mario/Zelda games and a bunch of arcade crap. Plus games I've never heard of, let alone played. And all this "quality" for $80 plus tax. Fuck that. Call me when they get third party titles and it's an emulator box with downloadable games. And costs $40.

Does anyone know where this will be available? Star Tropics, Punch Out, Double Dragon II were some of my favorites. I have to get this.

There better be an "add game" option. I want Battletoads.

Where the hell is River City Motherfucking Ranson and Bionic Commando!?!??!?! And I would of liked to have seen Double Dragon III on the list, but that's just me.

Still going to totally get it though!

Re: NES emulator mini-console w/ 30 games

A collection of articles detailing controller compatibility with existing Wii U controllers and ability to expand for other games.

http://www.polygon.com/2016/7/14/121...lassic-edition

(TL;DR: not officially designed to do so, but realistically, someone will likely hack this or physically open it up just to see how it works under the hood. I expect a solution to load other ROMs in the near future)

That would be great but seeing how un-hackable the wii mini ended up being i wouldn't be so sure.

Still it would be nice.
