It's subjective whether the Takara sets look better or not. Their version is toon accurate (or so it's been said; I've personally not seen much of their animation models) but I think the pink is a touch too bright. I like the toy accuracy of Hasbro's version, personally.

I don't know why people say the Takara is toon accurate, that totally depends. Takara is accurate to Headmasters, but the Hasbro is extremely accurate to both the toy but also the Rebirth. To me, THAT is my toon accurate. I'm glad this time around I have all the Hasbro clones because the Takara ones look awful to me and the pink is very jarring, as are the red faces, but they are a viable option for sure. Oddly, the Hasbro Pounce/Wingspan is accurate to the toys but also to the Headmasters series. For those guys, as they were in the Rebirth, they should have gold faces. I'll be interested to see what Takara does with them.

This is a scene outside in the sun, no shadows to make the colours darker than they should be. Doesn't look as bright as the legends version of the toy.

That's exactly what I mean. If Takara had a more muted pink or slightly lighter shade of red, THAT would be more toon accurate. As is stands, I'll side with Hasbro for these twins.

Yup, RobotKingdom usually has really high shipping. Checked on eBay myself but couldn't find $50 CAD. What search term were you using? Anything I could think of gave me results which were about $45 USD + $3 for shipping. eBay's advertised conversion claims that's about $56 CAD for the figure or $60 CAD shipped, but by the time you go through PayPal conversion, it's a touch over $62.

I would not order from Asia unless you're ready for 2 month delays due to Canada Post and CBSA shenanigans.
