Hey guys, got a quick question.

I noticed I'm starting to get hit more often at customs even with SAL.

Aside from lessening the size of the orders, there's no real way to further avoid customs right? I'm not just being paranoid and thinking I'm on some customs hitlist, right?

How much is the value of your packages being hit? I've said it before and I'll say it again, I find anything over 15000 JPY is at risk for getting dinged. I've only been dinged once (last Christmas) for a package under 15000 JPY and I chalk that up to Christmas vigilance. haha

I just received two Ironhides yesterday but Registered SAL from HLJ valued at 14,980 JPY and no custom charges

Then again I've gotten packages that have been over 20,000 JPY too with no customs. So YMMV. With the Yen gaining in strength and our dollar falling to it I'm worried the threshold of 15,000 JPY I set for myself will slowly go down cuz that in CAD today is ~$183.53.

I'm at the point where I may just ship items individually and pay a bit more in shipping but save overall in custom charges. And I have to highly doubt you'd be red flagged unless you've done something extreme to bring you to their attention?

I think I've only been hit once for the Japan shipments so far. Usually use SAL Registered.

Daaaamn those Titan Returns reveals are looking good. So happy to see Chromedome, and practically every other figure looks great too, other than Rumble being a weak repaint.

Man, I never thought I would be the kind of collector who buys multiple versions of the same Character. Some people have shrines to Jazz or Cheetor or whoever...

I have no idea why but it looks like that's happening with Chromedome with me.

I was a little worried he was going to be too similar to Metroplex, which he kind of is in his robot mode (mainly his waist), but his City/Base mode looks totally unique. It's a pretty solid retool, I'll be making room for him in my collection.

So, am I the only one missing the extra towers and leg collapsing that G1 Fort Max has over TR Fort Max? Kind of leaves the TR base mode somewhat lacking in comparison.

That said, Hard Head is a must buy for me. I wonder if Snap Dragon/Ape Face will get released at some point... :T

Hard head is amazing. I'm so glad I didn't go for the Universe/Headrobots combine.
