TFA Ratchet is Depressing

Not the figure itself (I like its articulation, accessories, and features), but his face is the saddest-looking damn thing I've ever seen. He looks like he wants to commit suicide. The combination of the shape of his eyes, their dark eye-lids, his big frown, and the pastel-blue paint on his mouth make him look like he needs anti-depressant medication.

Poor Ratchet.

No way, this is the face of a broken bot. Doesn't it make you want to weep?

Not really. Looks more like he's grumbling under his breath or going "God, you're dumb" to Bumblebee.

Except every stock picture of young Ratchet has him grinning like an idiot.

I look into his face and I can't stop imagining his mouth trembling and a tear running down his cheek.
