A question about selling G1 figures

I have a question for all you guys, now I'm not sure if the ones I have would be ones anybody wants, personally though I am interested in getting the opinion of others.

If I were to put the following figures up for sale would anybody be looking for them?

Hasbro Commemorative Series: All of these guys are loose complete w/ applied decals and include their packaging.

Autobot Jazz
Silverstreak
Red Alert
Hoist
Autobot Tracks
Inferno
Autobot Grapple

So what do you think could I re-coup what I spent for these guys or not? Would trading be more viable? Should I try and sell even more of the stuff I've got? I'm looking for advice here.

You'll rarely get as much loose for anything then if of was mint in sealed box. Those commemorative figures aren't even highly sought after. Honestly I'd be suprised if you'd get 75% of what they were retail

Re: A question about selling G1 figures

For those I would say $10-15 each. Toys like Grapple and Hoist more like $5 though as they were shelve warmers at TRU forever even when they were clearing them out for like $5-10.

Those were originally $39.99/ea @ TRU. I remember 2x 50% off sales which is when i bought most of them.

Sadly they were $39.99 each, I know because I bought them all and hate myself for spending that much money. Starscream and Hot Rod were the only ones that were ever $29.99. Optimus Prime, Powermaster Prime, and Ultra Magnus were $59.99 each. At one point they (TRU) even jacked Thundercracker, and Skywarp up to $44.99 each. By the time the last wave hit (Dirge and Sideswipe) they were on clearance for $19.99.

Silverstreak is probably the one you are most likely to sell and even then you would be lucky to get $20. The rest are pretty common and you can get Jazz (with corrected face ) and Hoist in the Encore line for like $30 -$35. Your best bet is trading with other board members who are interested.
