How about Overlord aka Gigatron? I feel hes much more menasing and badass than megatron. Both the name and his overall look are quite intimidating. I mean he uses a shuttle as a shield.....only chuck norris could be capable of such a trait.

Actually, the shuttle will use him as a shield.

It depends, even if you mark something as a "gift" it can still get hit by customs if the "declared value" is too high (I managed to send something to NY for $165 without getting hit). However, if you mark something too low and it gets lost or damaged you kinda screwed too.

Also, it might be cheaper to send a lot of little packages as opposed to a huge one since everything goes by weight.

Here is what's available from Canadapost (I excluded Xpresspost because it's really expensive to the US):

***don't forget that since it's Xmas, shipping is kind of funky so go to Canadapost to see the suggested mailing dates (http://www.canadapost.ca/cpo/mc/pers...ay/default.jsf)***

1) Small Packet GROUND:
-NO tracking
-NO insurance allowed
-2-4 weeks

2) Small Packet AIR:
-NO tracking
-NO insurance allowed
-1-2.5 weeks

3) Expedited:
-WITH tracking
-NO insurance but can be ADDED for extra $1+ (depends on how much you want to insure)
-4-14 days

Megatron = Walken in Sleepy Hollow. LOL! It's those pointy teeth!

Yeah, if the marked value is over $60, you'll get nailed for customs, gift or not. For big ticket stuff, you pretty much have to have it marked as "gift" AND undervalued on the shipping label.

Of course, you might get lucky... sometimes it's like they don't notice it, but you absolutely can't count on that.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

During the holiday season it's easier to get away with a bigger value.

***make sure to include a card clearly stating it's a gift, because it makes it more "official"***

Wow, I was going to TRU St. Bruno once every week for a while and never stumbled upon TC. I'd also go see at TRU Brossard and nothing there either!

If anyone happens upon a GDO Hotspot, please grab it for me!!

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

Ok I made some digging and There no Wave 3-4 of transformers prime on Kijiji or on ebay (that comes from quebec). I also look in the time factor of Protoman post which was yesterday at 12:21pm. Still nothing on kijiji or ebay. I made my monthly tour of toys on fire and legend action figure last Wednesday and toys on fire has that wave but it's was with the Hub logo so it's the US stuff. So i'm pretty sure we don't have a scalper here. Maybe just normal people buying toy for Christmas. If there really his a scalper around here he don't sell his loot now.

Maybe it's one of those crazies who buys multiple copies just so he can keep one Mint In Box and display the other one!

Or worse, TWO display, one for each mode!!
