I'd be interested in this.

Re: TF Movies: Where to from here?

As much as I liked TF3 and the first TF movie (I absolutely HATED RotF) I wouldn't mind a reboot to the series and have someone who's not Michael Bay try their hand at making these movies.

REBOOT!!!!

^This.

I want to also see some different charecters on the roster.

Oh come on. Who would not want Lugnut on the Big screen doing his Punch of Kill Everything. That would be loud and explosive.

I want a new director either J.J Abrams, Steven Speilberg, Peter Jackson, Ridley Scott or Christopher Nolan to direct.

Bay shouldl come back just to choreography the battle scenes. That what i honestly loved aboit the movies.

That last part, of how I dont think it can't work means I am being realistic about not seeing it on the big screen.

1990-2011. Many fans hoped Bayverse would be a carbon copy of G1 but honestly, I could care less to see a TF film take place in the 80's and probably a lot of other non-fans too. I may love BW but I can let go of the fantasy that they will make a big budget hollywood movie for it.

Thumbs up Re: TF Movies: Where to from here?

I'd say start planning on TF: Prime movie, and not repeat the same mistakes in the 86 movie.

To clarify, how many of us wished Bruticus, Superion, Omega Supreme, etc was in it? Sure would have made Autobot City battles and Unicron battle way more exciting. Many of us already know why they weren't in it, I'm sure Hasbro would like to put out a movie that was epic as the 86 movie, but (for a lack of a better word) more "complete" for fans.

If the TF:P's creators are as clever as they seem thus far, I'm sure new characters are at least halfway sketch designed, if they are not already 3D animated already.

Perhaps the final season ends in a cliffhanger and the actual series finale is the movie. Opposite of Clone Wars where their movie springboards the tv series.

Or the far flung fantasy many of us have....TF: Animated The Movie!!!

Opinion(s)?

Re: TF Movies: Where to from here?

i personally think the 86 movie redone with the CGI and realism that the bayverse has given us would be fantastic.

would be awesome to see the originals all redone in a movieverse way.

ya it probably will never happen but doesnt change the fact that it would be awesome and we would all love it weither you admit to it or not.

Re: TF Movies: Where to from here?

TF:Prime movie would be cool if they utilized every character big and small... Minicon to Primus, Alpha to Zeta.

They have million$ invested in the current CG models though. Surely they'll milk those for another movie... or a Prime Time TV series would be cool.

READ MY POST !!!! I said it would be cool to redo the G1 MTMTE and Movie in Highend CGI as a DVD/TV release when did I ever say to do it as the new movie or a live action movie ????
I made a G1 base statement about something that would be awesome to see , similar to your it Beastwars statement .
If you wanna just come out and bash because I mentioned G1 at least read threw my post first it was only a few line. Long .
