So is this strike on? I saw workers delivering as usual this morning. I thought today was the deadline.

The union rejected the offer for binding arbitration. Canada Post has extended their lockout window until Monday at 12:01 AM

Looks like we have at least 30 days to get our TF's. CP and the Union have agreed to a 30-day truce.

No, check Magnus's post up above. The truce was sitting on a brittle fence at best. That possibility got shot down a few hours later. Around noon on Friday, the union asked CP for a 30-day truce from the lockout for both sides to cool off, but CP shook the fence by countering that they would only agree to the truce if the union would accept taking the matter to arbitration if they couldn't come to an agreement within that 30-day truce. That was enough to destroy the possibility of a truce as the union doesn't want an arbitrator to step in whatsoever. CP could start locking out their employees by as early as this Monday.

Looks like the lockout was rescinded by Canada Post...but the union could still go on strike. So we're getting mail, but who knows for how much longer? Hopefully they can just sort everything out.
