Repaints & Minor Mods TF Prime Rid Voyager Megatron

Finally had a chance to work on him and he is still a WIP. As far as repainting goes he's not difficult. I am re-working the sword though which I ran into a few hiccups. Bascially I HATE the weapon gimmick and glued the sword part together. I plan on making it slide out but as in I pull and it slides out. Still working on it but for now, his repaint is pretty near done.

Well most toys need either some added paint or fully repainted. Seeing that I actually like doing it, it's not a bid deal for me. It is stupid that hasbro couldn't have just used some silver instead of flat dull grey.
TF Prime's Megatron is a pretty nice figure though I wish his gun was just a bigger version of the deluxe. Oh well. I'll probably paint up the RID Voyager Prime too but FE I aint touching!

p.s. his eyes have pupils so IF people want to paint up his eyes, red, yellow and black, easy peezy cooler eyes.

did you paint over all that clear purple plastic too?

will you keep the decepticon insignia off the vehicle mode or will you reprolabel it? also, did you touch up some of the purple bits as well?

The colours I used were purple, silver, dark metallic grey, gunmetal and yellow and red for the eyes and bit of blue for the gun.
I dont plan on adding a Decepticon insignia to his vehicle mode, I really dont see a purpose in doing so. As for the clear purple, all gone except I did leave some purple here and their in the joints just cause it looked good. I also used a dark grey wash to fill in the details.

Why did you choose to paint the eyes in those colors? In the show, they're just red and white.

It should be a red eyeball, then the iris is white or very light yellow and a red pupil. I went black by accident. I still have to fix it. When I watched a recent episode I noticed that. It's an easy fix, just havent had time
