So, did the rounds today. Whole lot of nothing.
Amusing non-Transformers finds today:
at Value Village Sportsworld, an Atari VCS with power and hookups for (wait for it) $29.99. That's probably not too bad (if it worked) but the games! Star Raiders with the touchpad for 14.99 and common 2600 games (loose) for 7.99. Each!

I too made the K/W VV rounds yesterday afternoon and found dippity-squat other than 1 headless movie 1 Bonecrusher in a bag of crap for $3 (did not buy).
Kitchener VV on Ottawa St, nada.
Sportsworld VV, nada.
Cambridge VV, nada.
Ah well.

Also to Robimus, thanks for letting us know about the membership discounts. I never even thought about that before, especially not to the level of 25% off.

They give 25% off one time for signing up so spend it wisely.

This is the main reason I gave up on the value village and haven't wasted anytime going there in the last 6-8mths.

I'll double this. While I essentially abandoned searching for TFs at the second-hand places, it was replaced with a never-ending quest for LEGO.
Because an incomplete Transformer is a broken toy. An incomplete LEGO set is still a set of LEGO.
My own searches have gotten nothing at Telize [they were good to me for TFs, though], but came up pretty good now and again at the VV. Should you come across something like this again, snag it and PM me, posthaste!

Yeah, but if I hadn't gone there, I wouldn't have ended up at Talize.
I was wrong about the contents of the Lego sets. I thought it was Jabba's Sail Barge based on all the brown and a Slave Leia.
It's the Sandcrawler(!). And the Republic Cruiser(!!).
Unfortunately, it's about five or six sets together, and nothing is complete. Looks like about half a Tie Crawler, 70% or so of the AT-TE,
90% of an A-Wing, 90% of a small Snowspeeder, 50% of the Republic Cruiser, not sure how much of the Sandcrawler, and something I still haven't identified. About 12 minifigs including a Jawa.
I went back this evening to see if there was anything else. Just Mega Bloks (aargh!). I asked if they had any more in the back, but they said they don't keep toys in the back.
I'm going to try to build as much of the Sandcrawler as I can, though I already need to supplement parts.

Re: A cool Value Village find ! ^_^
I got 12 pieces of lego monorail tracks, great condition, just needed a scrub. Based on the pieces, it was from someone's actual monorail set, not just that accessory track pack that they sold back in the day. $1.99.

Scored a complete Cybertron Wreckloose (W/the key even! ) and a Nerf Raider CS-35 with 20 of it's darts. + some fun little stuffed animals for the little one

Passed on a Mantis Beastwars guy missing a bunch of limbs and a Animated Roll Out Prime missing the ax and light bar.
