Where did everyone buy this? For those who bought from Japan, what is the usual customs charge? I have been using HLJ for my Gundam purchases but there is no customs/duty on hobby kits.

There are many sites that out starting to release it now like n-y, amiami, hlj etc. As for japan, the custom is like a luck in the draw, sumtimes u get it sumtimes u dont. Usually the bigger the amount, the bigger the risk. Stores like hlj and amiami declare the full amount of ur item. Usually if u get ding with it, its the tax of the value of package plus 11 post canada service fee.

No different from you buying Gunpla from HLJ. It all depends on the the value.
Just don't ship with Fedex.

My Hotrod shipped this morning from Nippon-Yasan I paid for two-three week shipping but my Ironhide came in less than a week from them. Hoping for the same here.
P.S. I received a shipping notice email from N-Y.
