I hang my head in shame:
As much as I try to turn my 5 year old nephew to Transformers, and he does like them, he is much more excited about Power Rangers.

I know nothing about Power Rangers.

Can anyone direct me to link where I can learn what is good, what is bad and which are the better toys for a 5 year old boy?

I will continue to turn in back to Transformers in the mean time.

What you could do if you want him to get really interested in transformers is to find some of the 1-2-3 transformers and let him watch the new transformers t.v. show and if that does not work just wait he will grow out of Power Ranger and start to look for something else to take up his time.

I have recently seen discounted Power Ranger toys at Winners. As they are normally expensive, its a good place to start.

I remember when I was about that age and I liked Digimon and Power Rangers, still have all my old ones. I only got into Transformers around Armada, when I just started breaking away from the prior two. I think he'll end up liking TF's in the future, for now I suggest getting Megazords that split up or the rangers that turn into their key animal.
