Re: A tale of an aging TF fan.

i dont know why you guys worry about guns and missiles. what a headache. Just get rid of them lol

My problem as a collector is forgetting what I ordered and DID NOT order through the mail. I have just about freaked out at delivery ppl more than once because of that. Oops.

I need to remember where I put this one accessory I used for YEARS with some transformers though - for ages I used my Transmetal Airazor as a villain and forced a rubber ninja helmet from a Robin toy onto her head. Plus gave her a cloak.

I think the personal backstory involved Stockholm's syndrome with Megatron.
Was it the Armarda version of Transmetal Airrazor by any chance? Her grey and black colour scheme would be perfect for a villain.

Hell, you could call her Beast Wars Nightbird!

Either way, cool use of accessories.

You think transformers are hard? Try Gundam model kits, accessories PLUS incomplete/option/replacement parts.

No - original Transmetal.

And I actually just found the mask today while searching through stuff, along with Tarantulas' eighth leg (I thought I'd lost it). Also found Reissue Starscream's jetmode missiles.

Still no sign of Cheetor's hand though -I think that went down the air vent years ago.

Yeah, seriously. When I sold my old models to Freedom_Gundam they were missing so many parts I felt bad since I couldn't find most of them. (I guess I ended up accidentally throwing those parts away) Luckily he just wanted fodder anyways.

I agree, I take meticulous care of any and all accessories that come with my figures. I store all parts in individually (by figure) labelled ziploc baggies and I keep them all together so none gets lost.

I've never lost a part or figure so far.
