Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
I would have been happy to sell my 2 Prowl-Ironhide sets with stickers had I known people here would want them... every post I read with people who got the boxes with stickers is not pleased... even the amazon listing for item shows the reviews with people complaining about the stickers

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
Complainers at least you get the toys.
Makes no sense open the box to play with the toys.
Be happy with what you got.
Misb???

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
I would gladly buy a stickered box Ironhide-Prowl set. I throw out the boxes anyway. I just want the toys for a reasonable (preferably MSRP) price.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
I think he has every right to return the 2 sets if they arrived in unsatisfactory condition for his collection. I know the set is hard to get right now but no one is obliged to resell unsatisfactory sets at cost (something that can cost time and money and can carry risks for the seller) when they can zero-cost, zero-risk return them to Amazon. It also helps Amazon learn that this "slap a sticker on the actual collectible item packaging" is not an acceptable way to ship.
Would offering the stickered sets at cost to board members have been a nice thing to do? Sure. Was it obligated rather than doing a normal retailer-customer return? No.
Let's focus on who is really being the problem in all this: Hasbro and Amazon.
(And no, I did not return any sets to Amazon myself)

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
I don’t care what the item is, a bar of soap, a sex swing or transformer, mail it in a f’n box or at least a padded envelope. The salt in the wound is they went out their way to take out of the brown box that it comes stock in. I complain everytime this happens on principle.
Customer return because they weren’t satisfied is actually well within rules and policies so calling him out on it does appear to be sour grapes on the surface.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
Hey guys I hear you! It is extremely frustrating this year to get these Amazon exclusives.. whether its the coneheads or the Prowl/Ironhide set (and I believe I preordered them back in July). Its not like I have an entire army of bots at my disposal buying them all up! Its so annoying to have to check my amazon app multiple times a day and I lucked out in being able to reorder them. It's no different than Netflix Soundwave and Bumblebee. Add them to your app as favorite and check them multiple times a day and hopefully you will eventually get one! Persistence is key.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
Lol yeah, what a year it's been. For the record I'd be happy to buy a set with a messed up box at or close to cost since I'm still waiting on my original order from July.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
I think the people who received the item with stickers or damaged box can request a discount if they chose to from Amazon. Some people getting 50% off on this set got a great deal in my opinion.
