TBH I've haven't been able to reach them for 6 months but could be just my bad luck

Customer service must vary tremendously by location.

I’ve always had someone at the local shop answer on the second ring, know exactly which new preorders I’m talking about, and always bend over backwards to try to get me product despite the supply chain issues this year.

They’re my go-to for all preorders now. Especially with the Edge discount.

Same. Have had nothing but wonderful service at my local EBGAMES. Great staff. Always helpful.

wow, that's one hell of a contrast. I avoid EB like the plague.

Yeah, the EB I frequent has been nothing but great. They don't get a lot of new stock in but I've had no problems getting preorders and the staff is stellar.

I’ve never once been privy to an email reply or been able to reach a human rep by phone so i don’t think its an outlier.

In store, most of the people seem willing to help, in my experiences

Ya if you need help, go to your local store. They usually can hep you. They also have access to your online order information and may be able to help sort out your CC issues. Though maybe call ahead to make sure and of course assuming that you're able to physically go to your store right now.

Got my Trailbreaker in at EBGames today. Hopefully, Sunstreaker isn't too far behind.

I have had the most success with the website's support chat. I have gotten through to reps twice now. I had no luck reaching them by phone.


All I have learned is that they are still waiting to receive more Earthrise deluxes. Sunstreaker in particular is very sold out. It sounds like distribution problems are plaguing them, since the rep said they still have open POs with their supplier.

Just wanted to publicly say thank you to ChrisW for helping me figure out the whole Ebgames Live chat thing.

I'm not an idiot when it comes to technical stuff so it was driving me crazy why I couldn't see the Live Chat option on Ebgames website! Bottom line? It was my browser adblocker that was blocking it. With it on it only shows Help. With it off, I see it change to Chat and am now waiting in line.

Just thought i'd put that out there in case anyone else runs into the same thing I did.
