Re: Megatron "Hegemon" AWESOME
Seeing the videos and pics, I'm still not sure where in my collection I would put this figure. I don't think I'd put him with my Classics shelf.

Re: Megatron "Hegemon" AWESOME
The price tag is the same as Hercules, $100 isn't so bad for a good third party figure. And it seems sold out everywhere too.

$100 for arguably the only good G1 Megatron toy? Yes.

Re: Megatron "Hegemon" AWESOME
I got mine from Chimungmung for $99 plus $15 shipping (USD) after realizing that all the usual sites were sold out. I'd never heard of CHimungmung but after a quick search I found pretty good feedback. Arrived in about 11 days from HK and I couldn't be happier. He even threw in a sheet of G1 Decepticon symbols.
Only gripes are the hip kibble/panels that hang in the back of robot mode and the looseness of the hinge used to give his arms outward movement. In fairness though, the former can be popped off easily and the latter can be fixed with nail polish/etc. Also would've preferred a more traditional stock but I see what they were going for.
All that aside you have a great representation of G1 Megatron complete with a removable fusion canon, a sword that can convert to a pick-axe, and a mace with a metal chain.

Re: Megatron "Hegemon" AWESOME
Aside from the loose joints (which is easy enough to fix) I only have one complaint about this figure, and with all megatrons that turn into guns in general, they never include a small gun mode for Starscream or Soundwave to hold. It's such an obvious piece, yet no one makes it lol

Re: Megatron "Hegemon" AWESOME
I love mine, but my only gripes are that the hip thingys are a bitch to keep in place when in weapon mode and how limp his arms are when trying to hold up his cannon.
other then that, amazing job for a first piece.
