I got a text saying my order was shipped, but I did not get an email saying it was shipped. I checked with Chat and they confirmed that order is not the one I ordered Sunday, but the one I cancelled on Friday. I thought I was receiving 2 orders of Runabout. But then they told me for the first order to return it or purchase a gift card with amount and send it to them.

I have NEVER heard of this being requested or happening. Very strange. Then, are you paying extra to activate a gift card?

Most people would probably say just to keep the extra Runabout.

They should not have sent you an order you cancelled. Not sure it is proper for them to ask you to re-pack, travel, and spend time and expenses to return the product they should not have sent. For you to return it, they should pay to have a courier come to your door and pick it up — Everything should be on TRU’s proverbial dime (if they truly do want it back). It sounds like this would be a greater expense for them rather that writing off the product. It is under $50. It is not like it’s a PS5 or big screen TV.

If you believe in Karma, then you could ask them to invoice you for the item, and then you can pay it. If this is the case, I would figure you should only pay for the item, and not for shipping.

Mine was CanPar. NightshadeX noted Purolator.

Right now I do have tracking for the package and I checked and my card was not charged. I'm probably going to wait till the first and second package arrive before taking action.

Hopefully mine is Purolator, they usually leave it at my door. Did you get shipping notification and tracking?

I don't know if it means anything, but all the negative reviews for Thrust have disappeared from the TRU website. All the reviews up until a few days ago were negative, mostly complaining about availability and TRU's site in general.
Now they're all gone, except for one brand new, suspiciously glowing review.
