No more twist ties?
I bought one of the new PowerCore 2-packs and the surprise moment was that they've switched from the old metal/plastic twist ties to some kind of twine, possibly made of plastic thread. And they actually tie the figure in with loose knots.
I've got a mountain of old TF twist ties. Is this the end???

Re: No more twist ties?
The twist ties of the old are more expensive then the "twine". So it answers itself.

Re: No more twist ties?
i don't mind the new twine ties - Though I used to use the old ones for posing or while making cardboard mock ups. Or for painting purposes.

Re: No more twist ties?
Is the twine easier to remove than the twist-ties?
In the past, i had to used pliers to untie the twist-ties for some figures

Re: No more twist ties?
Sometimes its easier - the one figure I had it was a matter of grabbing one end and pulling to undo the knot. The other figure was a bit harder - about on par with an easy set of the twist ties.
