I really doubt it. It's not even made by Takara/Hasbro, only by a Japanese company, you can either buy it now from some retailers or off ebay later on when the price is even higher.

??? BigBadToystore says its from Takara? but then i guess it still ain't no guarantee they'll release for US & CAN until they officially announce it  otherwise i'm making the purchase real soon...

I got mine last Tuesday from BBTS and have to say the guy is kickass fun also got the Frenzy and Rumble earphones which are pretty cool. An overall great buy, needed a new mp3 player and what better then this guy. I not a huge user of my mp3 players which made this so great cause it serves as a kick ass transformer as well. Personaly this was perfected for me but might not be for others just it all depends on how you look at it and how your going to use it .

Only place you could probably get him now in Canadian stores would be comic shops or specialty electronics stores I don't think Wal-marts or Zellers will get them because Hasbro will probably think these won't sell...
