classics rid 2000 ironhide

number 6 of 6,
classics rid 2000 ironhide from a cw ironhide.

mods=
donor toy ford f150 was butchered for the whole front end.this was used for bot mode hood/chest accuracy.
combination was sacrificed in order for screen accuracy.
there's added weight and support under the hood in bot mode as this bot normally has a tendency to be back heavy.now he's more balanced.

I decided on not going with the shows version of having black moo cow spots all over....always looked odd to me..

a new rifle was made for him along with repainting his stock axe.the axe also had a hole drilled into the tip to simulate a gun barrel tip.

upper thigh tops shaved down for clearance.

the bull logos are hand cut automotive grade vinyls.

detail shot of the bottom edge of his new chest..

group shots

RID fell into the dark period for me so I'm not familiar with these colour schemes. Have to say I like them, and great work.

It's a shame that the only toys that came out were the little basic things as they REALLY threw off scale in that line. These would look much better with the rest of the line I'm sure.
