Hence, he is a CliffBee.

That is indeed a Bumper. I wasn't sure the extent of the original post so I gave the recolour answer, not the real Bumper 1.

Re: A question about G1? Bumblejumper....

I've never heard of the red Bee's and the Yellow Cliff's being referred to as Bumblejumper and Cliffbee.

AFAIK, this guy (below) has always been known as Bumblejumper. And only "Bumper" recently due to his usage in the DW G1 comics. It's nice that they gave him his own name and identity.

But I figure if at TFCon (for example) I go and ask a dealer for a "Bumblejumper" they're going to give me this guy, not a yellow Cliffjumper.

I'd love to have one, but I'd never spend over $100 on one.

It's always a good idea to check.
Wouldn't wanna pay $100 for a "CliffBee"

When in doubt on prices, check ebay. This will allow you to compare your product to what is commonly sold in terms of condition and (in this case), mold, as well as see what prices they've gone for recently. It's not a guarantee of what someone is willing to pay, though.

At Botcon I saw a pretty rough one for 60 and a decent one for 85

This is your guide!

Thanks for all the feedback. I may try to upload some pics for more feedback if this current deal falls through.
