I'll go on record and say it right now.

There will NEVER be any future Batman films that will even come close to Nolan's Trilogy.

Looks spectacular.

Meh! Trailer's nice but it doesn't sell it to me. Not the way Dark Knight did.

***Possible Spoiler Alert***

__________
On-line speculation is that Joseph Gordon Levitt's character takes over as Batman after Bane breaks Bruce Wayne's back. That's why he appears more in this trailer and why it sounds like someone else is dressed as Batman imitating Christian Bale at the end when he says "This isn't a car." which is in tune with Christopher Nolan's overall theme that Batman is more of a symbol than a man.

Still not feeling it. Loved the first two, but this one just seems 'meh' at best. I'm not feelin' the whole "epic" beat. I'll still see it, for sure, but not nearly as hyped for this as I am for Avengers and Amazing Spider-Man.

That makes zero sense...

Cool trailer, shame that they filmed in different locations. Chi town was perfect.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises - Official Trailer #3

This makes this movie look better than ever. I am now excited again for this film. For a while, all I cared about was Prometheus, which is still #1 to see, but now I want to see this movie as much, if not more, than the Avengers.

Agreed 100%, and something I've been preaching since Batman Begins.

HOWEVER...

If someone was ever able to properly harness the aesthetic & style of the Arkham Asylum/City video games for the big screen, I think they could give Nolan's films a run for their money.

Except for the fact that we clearly see Bale's face as he says it. It's a cool theory, I'll give it that, but I'd be very surprised if that's the route they took. Hard to say - Nolan is notoriously good at misdirection and not giving a single thing a way via his trailers.
