Are HDX storage bins safe to store toys?

i heard ziplock bags have an acid that can break down toys. Do HDX boxes have that acid?

I could have sworn they advertised ziploc bags as acid free when they redesigned them a couple years back. A quick search seems to indicate it's quite the topic of conversation.

Just read an article on this and unless you leave you pieces in the bags for 50 years plus seems there's nothing to worry over....plastics all degrade over time to some extent as for myself had action figures stored for years (10+) and see no eve fence of any degradation ..damage ....sticky etc...

Well I sure hope that they are ok... I have my generations figures currently inside ziploc bags, packed inside HDX Storage bins LOL! Last I checked they haven't turned into play-doh
