It was a federal holiday, not a statutory holiday. Wouldn't affect Gamestop, I imagine it being late on Friday has more to do with it. I fully expect a call from my local GS for these pre-orders tomorrow. I hope they do take pre-orders for those core class Dinobots.

I mean lots of people work basically every stat holiday. Walmart is open every day except Christmas day. When I worked retail and restaurant I worked every holiday. It's a stat.

Just got the call for the pre-orders. Got Sludge and Slug so they are taking pre-orders on the core figures. They had Soundblaster as well but I'm skipping him and Leo.

The manager has a list of collectors that you can opt in to and they'll call you whenever new stuff gets uploaded to their system. I try to buy most of my stuff there since they treat their regulars really well. Nice to be on a first name basis with your vendors.

Yes, call your local store you can get it pre-ordered assuming you have an account with them. I got a few Marvel Legends and the Orion Pax 2 pack pre-ordered today.
