Movie Ratchet?
I've been wondering, is the Movie Ratchet voyager figure worth getting?
I wasn't going to bother getting him, but I've been thinking about picking him up today, but I was wondering what you guys thought. Is he worth getting?

Re: Movie Ratchet?
no, not really,
you should get him only if you are a major collector and must have every movie piece in your collection or you really LOVE the hummer H2.
As a figure by itself, it's not that great for that price.

Re: Movie Ratchet?
It would be much better if they gave him a gun build into his left arm but they ditched that idea leaving him ranged weapon less. His right arm becomes an axe and the roof rack becomes a lame grapple....thing....would have been nice to attach this to his back somehow other wise I give him a good 7/10 if you don't like the colour wait for the G1 coloured repaint. I'm trying to get a nice pic of the rail gun he used in the movie (damn it sounded cool in IMAX) but the way his hands are its seems difficult for him to even hold it. This looks like a job for DAK!

hahaha!
I actually love this character, and I think it's worth getting. he does have some arm/hand issues, but every toy has it's flaw. I really love big bulky characters, and ratchet is just that. plus I like Hummers. so IMO, I would deffinitally get him.

I agree, he's tied for my least favourite movie voyager with Blackout. He is too much like a voyager-sized basic to me (too simple of transformation, features).

Re: Movie Ratchet?
I don't like it much either, but I will pick up the G1 color sceme if I see it. It will fit in great with G1 Jazz and G1 Screamer. now if they would just consider a red Ironhide...........

Re: Movie Ratchet?
I'd say yes, very solid in both modes and very nice transformation. His transformation is far from being that of a scout. Just how the waist and chest area are formed is worth the price of admission alone.

Re: Movie Ratchet?
Agreed.....a leader version of Blackout should be done (come to think of it, I think only Barricade and Frenzy don't deserve the leader treatment :P)
