But if I have no choice, then just about any light beer will do, although it'll take about 6 beers to get me to the same buzz level.

+1
My dad got me hooked to the 40 Creek and something else called Smokehead. There's some other really expensive crap he buys but I can't remember the name.
Other than that...I'm 99% a liquor guy...Jack and Coke being #2 behind Whiskey and it takes me a looooooong time to get drunk
Beer
In no particular order
Keith's
Moosehead
Nicklebrook
Blue

Re: Beer?
Not a big beer guy myself. Only after about 4 or 5 do they start to taste good... or my taste buds are dead... or I just don't care anymore.
I used to be a rye and coke guy, but one weekend in Montreal killed my tolerance for that, and even the smell of it will send my liver into fits.
Now I stick to dihydrogen oxide for the most part.

Re: Beer?
I truely love my beer. I heard that edmontonians drink more, smoke more, and are more fat than other Canadian cities. Well iam not fat, so I guess I fit into the other categories. Anyways, my favorite beers would include:
Kilkenny
moosehead, I was pleased to see the support for this.
Pretty much any honey brown
and for the after work beer I choose bud or Canadian.
