Some info I learned about those coupons:

Associates who know about the coupons are supposed to promote it in order to drive sales.

And Hasbro does indeed reinburse TRU for it, but only if the coupon is correctly applied according to the terms stated in the fine prints. Thats why the cashiers are supposed to sign and keep the coupons used in their transaction as they are supposed to only scan a coupon after reading the terms and confirming that the conditions apply to that transaction.

As many have mentioned, the coupon may scan and apply regardless but the cashier applying coupons incorrectly may be on the hook and get written up as they are supposed to read first to guard against misuse and abuse.

Re: Tru flyer

True enough, I suggest if you do plan to stack the coupons in contradiction to the policy on the coupon, ask the manager for their discretion...and if they decline, be polite of course. With the current flyer sale I believe the 10% Hasbro coupon can be applied according to what it says on the coupon itself with regards to sale prices on items.

Definitely agree with this. It clearly says on the coupon "one per transaction", so knowingly going against this really isn't fair.

^ I'm with the posters above. Folks who are getting clerks at TRU to scan multiple coupons on the same purchase are being kinda scammy IMO. Get the deals you can, but buy your toys ethically.
