MP Starscream Pre-order on TRU.ca

Does anyone know what's going on with mp-07
Starscream? Is he still on pre-order?

My Starscream arrived yesterday! Tru is now 0-4 for putting packing in the box with my MP's. But his box is perfect anyway.

Starscream himself is nearly perfect, though his fingers were on backwards, and the sprue cuts on his unpainted red plastic are very apparent. But I love the metallic blue paint and silver outlined Decepticon logos that match Hasbro Thundercracker's.

He's taken over for MP-11 on my toy accurate shelf, whilst MP-11 gets his coronation gear back and goes on the toon accurate shelf. Now I just need a purple nosed Skywarp with silver outlined logos to finish my toy accurate trio. And MP-11TC will finish the toon trio. Good times!

My SS showed up the other day, right to my door. It's the first time that TRU used literally NO packing materials, just the box in another box. Lucked out, only a mild bit of a crease on an edge. And the figure looks great, only a couple little specks of paint out of place. No QC issues at all. A bit of a loose elevator, but nothing I can't try out some Future polish on for the first time.

Lots of reviews already for this one, so I won't bother to add to the already good stuff. I will say this: the nosecone thing? Totally a non-issue with the toy in hand. It just looks like Starscream, and in a weird way has a more complete look: the tail fins match the nose, tying in the whole jet look.

I should sell MP11, but I don't think I will...but I could use him to trade up for another MP I could use (Soundblaster, Takara Soundwave). I'm quite impressed with this Hasbro SS, and I think I got lucky in all aspects.

Really? They have literally shipped everything I've ever gotten from them that way to me.

Same here -- never had a shipment from TRU that had packing material in it, just the product in a box.

Yeah that's why, if I can, I buy a case. TRU got smart awhile ago and if you order a case (in MP Starscream's case it is 2) they ship it to you unopened in the case.

The case is of course sealed and packed well by the manufacturer which avoids the loose box damage.

Anything I've ever ordered has come with no packing materials. My friend's MP Soundwave arrived a few years ago looking like someone sat on the box.

I've gotten some beat up boxes from toys r us but nothing beats my cw devy from walmart. They put a shipping label on the toy box and that was that. I emailed customer service to complain and they assured me they would pass the message on to warehouse lol

Good news here, my local TRU applied my rain check to the Starscream. All I had to do was bring in the receipt that came in the shipping box and the rain check paper.
