Re: Will you see The Last Knight?
I will watch this on Netflix unless I end up going because friends are. Despite my best efforts, I am not a kid anymore and nostalgia is probably the biggest part of what interests me about Tansformers. Better or worse, the films just don't interest me enough to make any real effort to see them.
on the other topic. of course one blames the director for a bad movie! same as the pitcher of a ball team or the officer in the military. not because Bay is the sole contributor, because he takes responsibility with the job.
this is the reason he is associated with the film franchise and not a list of 100 people.

Start them on cynicism early, that way they'll be less disappointed once they're adults

Re: Will you see The Last Knight?
I'm both surprised and not surprised at how many people are seeing this in the theatre. The amount of criticism and negativity I see leveled against these movies would have me believe we'd learn our lesson and stop supporting them where we can. I know I won't be going to the theatre to see this. I'm sure I'll see it eventually but I won't go out of my way to find it. Maybe a torrent or on Netflix. One less ticket sale isn't going to crumble the franchise but I'm voting with my wallet here.
No judgment if you are going. I understand the hype or the desire to consume the media. I do. I just personally don't want to be involved with this aspect of the brand anymore.

Re: Will you see The Last Knight?
Wait for reviews should have been an option.
If it scores higher than a 40% by critics on rotten tomatoes, ill pony up to see it in theatres.
AOE sits around 15%.
The first baysformers film got 53%
My hopes are not high.

Re: Will you see The Last Knight?
Yes, but well after opening weekend when it shows up at the local cheap theater. The only one Ive really enjoyed was the first, so I don't have high hopes of that changing.
