Just got my Valkyrie in the mail. Not as bad as I was fearing but not as good as I'd hoped. I was fortunate to geat a decent paint job and the bicepts are secure. Although, there's a noticable line where the two pieces of plastic meet.
You definitely need kid gloves to handle the figure. It's defintely not for play. The plastic feels fragile in some areas but solid in others. Overall it feels and looks like a model kit that someone put together. The posibility isn't that great. There are joints, but the thighs don't have swivels so there aren't too many cool poses you can put her in. For me, the only real pose you can get is the one where she's crouched. Coincidentally, it's the one she's always pictured in.
In terms of it's $80 price tag, which includes shipping, its not worth that much. IMHO this is a $40-50 figure at best, and is only for collectors who absolutely need to fill that arcee hole. (Keep your minds out of the gutter.
)
Overall, the mold looks pretty good, and has/had so much potential, but a few things that make it fall short of being great. Too bad there wasn't any die-cast.
I'd rate it as a 7.0-7.5 out of 10.
