Re: Fansproject Dinobots

So Falcon's Hangar has the first one up for 170 SGD before shipping which translates to about $150 CAD.

Factor in shipping and you're back up to $170 CAD.

I'm really hoping that is not the retail price we'll be looking at.
If so I'm out - not that I can't afford it just that it is not a good value in my eyes.

Ya if they are $150 CAD each, that's not going to happen..

Re: Fansproject Dinobots

I will be out too, 150 to 170 for each is kind of high, and there are 5 or 6 of them.
Smart robin is a Deluxe size one, which costs around 80. So I assume this one will be around 100, but not that 170 high.

Re: Fansproject Dinobots

The first one is stated to be 7.5" so about Generations Springer sized - I know that size isn't the be all end all of pricing but if they stick to the $150 then it is getting to be like Apple, pricing for the name brand more than the product.

Edit: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/p...44&mode=retail

BBTS has preorder up at $103 - this is right in with Warbot pricing and what I expected.

Now to wait for local suppliers to get their solicitations.

Kind of looks like they would fit into FOC line better, IMO anyway.

Size is right too

my wallet is feeling this now damn you FP

I think I will stay with trying to make customs if they were $75 -85 CDN with taxes in, I think I would pull the trigger. But the MP dinos are going to pretty much suck me dry

Re: Fansproject Dinobots

These look very cool. I was hoping for 75-80$, but was expecting 100$+, so I'm not shocked at the price. At 80$, they would have roped me in, at 110+Can plus shipping, I can live without them. In a world where Classics is competing with MP for my cash, MP will win everytime.
