Re: Question(newbie) about Hasbro MP

I'm collecting the new masterpiece line as well, Looks to me that they are starting a new international masterpiece line.

Starting with Acid Storm and Soundwave, anyone heard yet when and what the international MP-03 will be?

Re: Question(newbie) about Hasbro MP

Well those two you mention are from the Hasbro North American line. Haven't heard officially on what the next MP could be but there is speculation it's the Year of the Horse Optimus Prime which is rumoured to be the MP-10 takara mold with clear trailer. Its part of the thrilling 30. But that's just rumors

...maybe they'll just re-release the MP-10 as it was, make me happy and we'll call it a day?

Re-release of MP10 is already out, the re-release of MP05 is too, and the re-release of MP11 is due out shortly.

Re: Question(newbie) about Hasbro MP

I don't know about you guys, but the "thrilling 30" is kinda falling flat on me. A couple exception, Metroplex, Acidstorm, and Soundwave(if you didn't buy the Takara one) the rest are kind of boring so far.

If Springer and Blitzwing are part of that I can say that I also enjoyed those two. Trailbreaker is cool, but too small. I'm only interested in voyagers these days.

"Thrilling 30" What an excellent opportunity to celebrate 30 years of the best toy franchise ever.

(Bomb) Way to go Hasbro. Why release run of the mill and boring figures with "Thrilling 30" on the box and waste such a good idea.

Totally agree. Springer, Blitzwing, Metroplex, and MP Soundwave are great figures. The others are too small and also don't entirely fit my G1 leaning.

Only thing I dislike is I REALLY wish Soundwave had red eyes. I just ordered one, but if finances improve/allow later, I may try to score a Takara for this reason alone.
