So the Sears one has the neutered voice chip too? If they had the American version, I'd go with them. But I think I'll stick with my 25% off TRU preorder.

The 25% off preorder from TRU, if it's TRU.ca, wouldn't it also have a compromised voice chip? (I'm assuming it was a Canada thing).
I actually got mine from BBTS from the states and picked it up on a US trip so that might be an alternate route.

Yes the box says "With lights and sounds", nothing abouts voices or phrases. The full voice chip would have been nice to have but its not essential to me, so I'm happy anyway.
