Transformers Collector's Club

I'd like to join TFCC so that I can purchase the exclusive figures as well as the cool free figure. Only thing is I have to sign up before March but I will be moving in April/May ish.

Has anyone ever switched their shipping address after signing up?

Actually...I think someone did, and had trouble getting their exclusive.

Can you sign up with your parents address or something?

Re: Transformers Collector's Club

I would... if they weren't in the middle of a divorce lol.

Thanks for the response though. Now I know not to use my current address and switch. I suppose I could use my girlfriends place lol.

That shattered glass drift is too cool!!

I mean, you could switch and it could go fine...but I know of at least one person who was had issues last year - so best being cautious.

That was me last year, and it was a real nightmare.. I used their online system to keep my contact information up to date.. and apparently that system is totally non-functional. Or no one bothers to read it. I'm just quite thankful I got my figure. Since to date I'm convinced there were lots who didn't.

If you do join, and then move. Call and / or email them and make sure someone confirms your new address back to you.

Make sure to update your profile and THEN call the club to make sure it went through, I had a similar problem when I moved out.

I remember there was a thread posted about the shipping of the Exclusive toy was in limbo and couldn't be tracked and it was a nightmare. I'd say if you know where you are going and want the exclusive why not sign up late and provide your new address or definetly use CanPost to forward all your mail to your new address.

Re: Transformers Collector's Club

Thanks guys! You've been very helpful for this noob collector My wonderful girlfriend told me to just her address cuz she's awesome... or she wants the drift who knows. Its good to know that I can always call them and ask them to confirm the shipping address.

So did everyone get their exclusives? Were there a lot of cases where it went as you say 'limbo'? Cuz that would definitely turn me off from signing up!
