Re: Post Your Transformers Hauls - 2014 Edition

Just picked up a MISB Generations MetroPlex at Toys R Us in the discount section. Box is a little banged up on one side...
It was priced at $90. Came to $101+change with taxes. Decent deal?

I shook it and it felt like the stuff inside is loose like Lego blocks.
Is this normal?

I got some guns and missiles I think. I'll have to check.

If it's sealed, it should have most larger things taped into place but I got a sealed Takara one and when I tipped it over, there were 3-4 pieces banging around. Those few are normal.

I recall mine having stuff clattering around inside the box. Mine was a Costco special, but $100 seems more than reasonable for the toy. Interestingly, that was G1 Metroplex' price when he was first in stores.

IIRC he sits fairly loose in the box with just some cardboard dividers to separate the parts. Easy for stuff to move around. open it!!

I thought I remember it being $100 too but I've looked online at the old Sears Wish Books and Metroplex was only $30, same as Scorponok. Fortress Maximus was the only $100 figure.
