Haven't really played with it yet apart from taking it out of the clamshell to check if there was any paint or QC issues; didn't see any. My impression of him is that if you've owned any other Robot Damashii, it is a pretty quality figure in terms of articulation and sculpt. The accessory count is kinda limited (hands, shotgun, knife, sheath, parts swap for lambda drive), but it's pretty much all you need.
I have the Revoltech version too and can instantly tell you the RD version is so much better in every way. Though it would of be nice if the RD version had the spare clips and hand holding shotgun shells like the Revoltech version has.

I looked up pics of the original release PIC and apart from missing those triangular/squarish pieces near the bottom of the pic, it seems to be exactly the same minus the lambda effect parts. It's been too long since I've seen FMP so I'm fuzzy on the details.
Anyways, went to Hong Kong for personal stuff recently and found these crystal 3D jigsaw puzzles at a store and got a pirate ship, treasure chest, and apple:
Might of found a new addiction.... And today from Amiami:
Diamond, crystal skull, butterfly, rose, pearl shell, grapes, Earth, Lamborghni Murcielago (licenced), and 3x light up display bases.
In the same box was also Gundam Head Collection Vol. 4: Unicorn Destroy Mode, Sinanju, Strike, etc...

Hmmm. I figured there'd be more differences in the mold, since they released a whole new separate Booster for the Lambda Driver version, and the old Booster is apparently incompatible with the newer figure.

Oh those! I got the rose one years ago for my then-girlfriend (now wife) when I went to Hong Kong back in 2009. Looked cool on the shelf, but I have no idea where she put the thing nowadays. The pirate ship looks amazing, though.

Those triangular/squarish pieces were just the back skirt and are same as the original release. I remember so little about the show -_-. Watched some AMVs and forgot how awesome the show is.
Anyways, saw a video review of the original release of the Arbalest and can better point out the differences with the new version:
- besides the new effect parts also includes left hand for holding the shotgun and grapple hook attachment
- greatly improved range of motion (especially in the hips)
- panel on the back of torso can be removed for use with the Tamashii Stage stand.

Actually just wanted the Unicorn and Sinanju, figuring it would be about the same price if I were to try and get the two separately on ebay. I was neutral on having a Strike, but in hand it's really really nice and is my fav of the set. Think it might be worth it to track one down, though Strike is the one with the light up base.

Re: Post your hauls
Just picked up a used JVC 20" CRT TV, the AV-20F476, for $20 off of a seller on Craigslist.
Mainly because it's relatively small, has composite/S-Video/component inputs, and it's a CRT, all for my CPS-2/Supergun setup.
Dammit, in this day and age of flatscreens and all, I'm going out of my way to hunt down a CRT...
It's currently under a table in my hobby/collection/modding/building room, because my wife doesn't want to see it in the living room... :S
