calgary comic and entertainment expo april 2015
just a reminder to those attempting to go this year, tickets are available at select comic stores in calgary or online @
http://www.calgaryexpo.com/calgary-expo-tickets/
tickets will "not" be sold/available at the door anymore though
the fun begins thursday april 16th -sunday april 19th.
keep in mind that the open times and ticket prices vary for each day.
i've opted to attempt to go there with the little one and her cousins on the friday as i figure it'll be less hectic as it would be on the weekend days.
hope to see some of you local members there

each day from thursday to sunday is different prices, but i know if you try to get friday ones, either your computer just sits there thinking when you go to pay with credit card now or you get a email back that says all sold out.
excited for skeletor and ming na wen...aka chun li in that god awful van damme version of street fighter.

Calgary comic and entertainment expo next month
So who around here is going to be there? I've only been as far as the Edmonton expo and they had a fairly good selection of Transformers stuff there. What can I expect there and how much bigger is it in comparison?

Re: Calgary comic and entertainment expo next month
It was 98,000 people last year and I heard it was way better than Edmonton's was. I look forward to this more than Christmas, I'll be there all day every day.

Re: Calgary comic and entertainment expo next month
I've gone the last 5 years and the selection of new TF/3rd party stuff is good. Prices should be interesting this year with the exchange rate.
For older gems, there are big booths where you will have know your stuff and do some digging.

Re: Calgary comic and entertainment expo next month
Wow...thay sounds pretty big!! 3rd party stuff is what I was hoping to find there. Especially since its the kind of stuff that we just dont see in my neck of the woods. My gf is gonna be working at one of the booths there so I got some free reign on some major spending. Hopefully currency doesnt make it to nasty.
