Re: (SPOILERS ALLOWED) Transformers RoTF Your Reviews
I thought one of the Constructicons grabbed the parents? They were dumped in the desert by one...
I'm sure someone else with post more info (I'll be seeing it again in IMAX tomorrow), but I thought someone helped during the helicopter car pick-up scene... the guy I referred to as 'Another Decepticon car?' up above. Maybe that was Barricade?

Re: (SPOILERS ALLOWED) Transformers RoTF Your Reviews
I keep thinking of little things since yesterday... I didn't really notice anything breathtakingly new with the Score. Lots of cues from the first movie, that kind of thing.

Re: (SPOILERS ALLOWED) Transformers RoTF Your Reviews
The victorious Ninjamasters have seen Revenge of the Fallen!
I really liked it. About half way through I thought that it was about 100 times better than the first. I'm still processing the film and I know I can say that I didn't like everything about it, but for the most part I have to say that it was pretty awesome.
I really liked the fighting in this movie. It was really brutal, but much clearer and visually easier to follow. I still wish we got a bit of better look at all the characters, but all in all I will say that this movie was much better in that regard than the first.
Starscream was cool. Much more like the Starscreem we know. His line at the end about cowards surviving was perfect.
Optimus' "Let's roll!" moment was the only time I've ever lost it in a theater. I let out a cheer after that. But I was not alone! I think all of the real fans in the audience did the same.
Anyway, the whole experience of winning the Faction Feud at TFCon and getting to see the movie early with my Ninja-minions was amazing and I will probably never forget it. Big time thanks to everyone on the TFCon staff who helped make that happen for us.
There will eventually be some photos of the Ninjamasters' ROTF excursion, as well as a collective video review and some other hilarity that will go unmentioned at this time.
Sayonara.

Re: (SPOILERS ALLOWED) Transformers RoTF Your Reviews
Preliminary impressions are: - more expansive than the first (China, Egypt, France here we come!!!)
- fight scenes are shot with a long lens to make the action more decipherable
- not enough Ravage, Soundwave
- too much Twins action
- Prime depicted as more powerful and adept at fighting
- Megatron's return is "too convenient"
- The Fallen's appearance is brief (likened to Nero's "cameo" in Star Trek)
- Starscream is more Starscream-y
Can't wait to see this in IMAX sometime next week. Perhaps I'll have a more concise review then.

Re: (SPOILERS ALLOWED) Transformers RoTF Your Reviews
I didn't like the lack of screentime for most of the autobots. Or just being peripheral in the background such as Jolt. Also, Soundwave needed to come down to earth. He sounded good though..even without the vocoder and I loved how he was spying/infiltrating as he should be.
Other negative was expected...Michael Bay's focus on the military at the end..we have 40 or so bots on the ground fighting, just focus on them instead of different planes taking off from different ships.
All that said, LOVED the movie. Prime kicking ass in the forest..at the end with the jetfire powerup...amazing! And the Starscream/Megs interaction was perfect!
I kind of thought the pacing couldve been a bit better though. Like, if they're made it longer overall and cut the movie in half...1st part ends where Prime dies...a very dark ending and then the 2nd act as a 2nd movie.
Overall though..definitely better than the first.

Re: (SPOILERS ALLOWED) Transformers RoTF Your Reviews
Alright you crazy Mofos! Behold, the video review of ROTF from the NINJAMASTERS!!! This was done in our hotel room after seeing the sneak preview screening in Toronto! Same night as Proto's gang saw it in Montreal. Alas, one of our founding members, Sideswipe, was MIA... but he was with us in spark.
As Ninjatron already mentioned in his post, a BIG thanks to Shan for making this all possible!
We plan to continue our World Heavyweight Champion title reign forever and ever.
