Yeah seems like a policy that they'll claim is to stop scalping but is really there to just screw over parents trying to return baby stuff that doesn't fit or work.

Got the Nemesis from a grand opening store here in AB for the same 10% off storewide, plus another 25% off from the mailer coupon as mentioned previously. Just over $200 plus GST.

At first I thought it was just the price adjusted during the sale, but the numbers don't seem to add up to any combination of the discounts.

It's the deal amount spread over the items. They've done this for as long as I've been using coupons at TRU

Oct 9- Dec 24th Toysrus has price matching again. Although some heavier restrictions like only price matching specific retailers.

Yeah they started promoting it recently. Pretty standard stuff from a price match policy. Including even allowing price adjustments after purchase.



It is a sad statement on the current retail marketplace when a price matching period is "news." Somehow we have all just accepted another nail in the coffin of competitive pricing by retailers.


Also nothing I have seen lately suggest any of their competitors will be having big sales outside of maybe Black Friday. So who knows what we will be able to price match, unless something pops up on sale randomly like Amazon tends to do.
