Re: haslab unicron

I don't think Unicron will make it. On Hasbro Pulse the number of backers only increase by single digit each day. While China only has 100-300 backers in the past week.

On top of that, Zeta Toys is planning to release their own Unicron. That's the one I'm going for. If it's anything like their combiners, it will definitely eat into the Haslab sales.

Zeta one is going to be around 40” tall... a bigger, badder Unicron IMHO

Re: haslab unicron

Hopefully it won't partsform like their combiners... Would suck to have to put chunks of planet aside for robot mode.

You never know. Backing usually occurs in a bell curve from what I've seen, and Unicron may be like Jabba's barge with a lot of frontloaded backers (super excited people) with a lull in the middle until we get all the backloaded supporters jumping in last minute (the people scrounging money to pay for this behemoth).

Not everything will be like those Kickstarters that blow past their initial funding goals on day 1.

That's not entirely a bad thing. At the least the robot mode would look clean and not like a panelly-looking mess from the back. It's because of parts-forming that makes Zeta's combiners look great.

It's because of parts-forming that I avoid Zeta products. That's just lazy engineering to me.
