I have an opposite opinion of myself. In the very first post in the thread, I said I hated drift. Now, I love him! He's been slowly growing on me and I really want one now. Probably get it at the sale at TRU.

I wan't going to pick up the generations figures...but now I might get Megs and Prime...but just them...okay maybe Soundwave...but not bumblebee...

Sorry, I mis-spoke, I meant I wasn't going to pick up the War For Cybertron figs from the Generations line.

I'm actually a big g1 generations/universe/classics collector, so I have drift and Thrust, and I'm planning on getting Red Alert, Jazz and Dirge, when they come out.

I do not care for that Costco "gold" battle ops bumblebee, despite the fact people seem to really want it badly.

Also I dislike Admiral Ackbar.

Is Admiral Ackbar the fish dude from Star Wars? I never understood why he was popular, but that's probably because i'm only 18...

Also, Classics 1.0 Jetfire mold is just so .. meh.. but i still bought Treadbolt =.=

When he came out, reviews of ROTF Jolt spoke high praise. I find him to be one of the worst movie figures to date. There are no pieces under the windshields so he's completely see-through in car mode. It looks rediculous. You shouldn't be able to see right through a car from top to bottom. Also in robot mode, the gray piece behind his head limits pose ability and looks terrible. His shoulder guards never stay vertical. His whips look whimpy and non-whipish. He was my biggest disappointment, far below my deluxe Ratchet, Chromia, and Blazemaster.

Arcee had mixed reviews. I'm in the love it crowd.

Well...as far as 'opposite opinions' go...

I like Action Masters.

I realize the whole concept of non-transforming Transformers is an oxymoron, and yet I like how the Action Masters, at least those based on 'classic' characters (in most cases at least) have an extremely faithful look to their cartoon appearances. I like that every robot partner or vehicle is interchangeable between Action Masters. I think that adds a good deal of replayability. When you get right down to it, I think they're interesting.

Currently, I only have one Action Master in my collection (Shockwave) but I'd like to collect more, especially some of the bigger ones like Megatron or Optimus Prime that come with the really sweet vehicles that CAN transform and seat multiple toys at once. I especially love the idea of getting a Megatron with his Neutro-Fusion Tank and tricking it out with a Decepticon warparty.

It also helps that Action Masters tend to be relatively inexpensive compared to other G1 toys, at least the basic toys that just come with a partner. So it shouldn't be hard to collect more, once I'm in a position to do so. ^_^

Yes, the one in Camaroman2's avatar. I suppose he's popular for realizing "It's a trap". But I dislike him and all his fishy friends. For the Empire!
