Sealed Monstructor Value?

Just looking to see what you all think.

What's the value of a Sealed US Monstructor set? Like the top dollar value.

All 6 are Sealed and on gorgeous cards that I would say range from c-8.5 to C-9+

Honestly have never seen a nicer set ever. Most of these guys either have those sticker overlays from Europe or the cards are warped.

Any input would be great.

Thanks
Kev

From my experience $100-$150 per card

I'd be interested in the lot if its for sale

Ya, AFA isn't very practical unless you live close to the border in which case you can drive over and then ship to save a ton.

quoted in Canadian funds. I had an opportunity to buy a couple of really mint ones from a US contact for $100usd each (slog and another one, can't remember which) but the prospects of hunting down the other 4 would be slim and/or require a lot of patience, which I don't have lol.

Re: Sealed Monstructor Value?

It's $200-$400 USD just for a loose set on eBay depending on condition. MOSC and in great condition? Would probably be around $1000 USD (IMHO).

Yeah, I'm torn at the moment when it comes to evaluating them. I guess if the right offer came along i'd sell them. I'm torn because I rarely see them look this good.

If you look at sold prices, loose sets sell between $200-$300cad complete. Asking prices are another thing. $1000usd for mosc set? I dont really see it, only because you are targetting a specific niche in 1. a collector of pretenders 2. a collector of sealed items.

I respect your opinion but I would value this set at $600usd or $800cad tops.

Re: Sealed Monstructor Value?

I think you have received some decent estimates but I suppose with selling any of this stuff it really comes down to what you are comfortable parting with it for. In the past, I have had a nightmare trying to move cheaper items listed at below market value. To a buyer who really wants it, $1000 is probably fine but I'm guessing that it would be a tough sell right now, on this particular forum at that price. Having said that, you could list it on eBay and see what happens. It seems that most people (including Canadian sellers) list in USD on eBay so you could probably make close to that if you are benefiting from the difference in foreign exchange. Having said that, i have never personally sold on eBay so I have no idea of listing fees, etc. Circle back if you decide on a price.

Re: Sealed Monstructor Value?

All I know is I'd sell it as a group, obviously. But even then, that's a lot to drop. He's no doubt collectible, but there's still only a limited amount of collectors willing to drop that kinda money in one shot.

You'll do fine in any case. Shipping won't be a huge deal compared to the price you'll command in the end.

Can we see some pics?
